Puyallup Fair

Talking about Puyallup would not be complete without the mention of the Western Washington Fair grounds. Located in the Heart of Puyallup’s downtown area and just off the Meridian exit on Hwy 512, the fair grounds is the Home of the famous Puyallup fair. Known only as the “Valley Fair” the fairgrounds were renamed Western Washington Fair grounds in 1913.

The Puyallup fair located at the Western Washington fair grounds runs for three weeks every September. This year it will run from September 10-26 and will feature the Puyallup Rodeo, concerts include, Brett Micheals, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nielsen, Chris Botti, Dierks Bentley and more.

17 days a year in September the downtown is taken over by locals and tourists flocking to the area to take part in the fair. The fair features rodeos, animals, entertainment and lots of delicious food.

The fair draws over 1.3 million visitors every year and is considered one of the top 10 largest fairs in North American. Doors open at 10am daily and it is no wonder that many people spend the entire day attending the rodeos and concerts, riding the roller coasters, eating great food, picking up great deals at the commercial exhibits, watching magic shows, petting the farm animals and much, much more. If it’s your first time attending or your 12th there is no end to fun you will have at the Puyallup fair!
